SpecialFX WindowThere has been a flurry of software updates over the weekend, and alias seems to be the keyword.
Richard Hallas aka the editor of Foundation RISC User has release an update to the popular SpecialFX desktop enhancement utility. To cut a long story short, SpecialFX improves the anti-aliasing in software such as Ovation Pro and Draw. SpecialFX is 32bit compatible, and is supplied as standard with RISC OS 4 and 5.
Mr Ripley has released an update to Makealias which makes Windows™ style shortcuts to files, directories and applications.
Dave Lambley has released a IPP Device Driver which means that you can print to internet printing protocol capable network printers from RISC OS.
