      mode="escaped">You never know, maybe LEGO will decide to release their own games console. It probably isn't too hard to fit a gumstix board in a 2x4 brick. Then you plug another 2x4 ontop as a games cartridge, and connect it up to a base plate containing an LCD screen.</summary>

      mode="escaped">Yes, the A9 Home.  There is a bug in the PS/2 driver that means a race condition can be tickled with certain pairs of devices.  Swapping them over sometimes solves this.  PS/2 ports being tied to one of keyboard or mouse is entirely an OS problem, not a hardware one.  RISC OS is quite happy to have the keyboard and mouse in any PS/2 socket.</summary>

So i am stuck with 1.44 and windows or linux... And that's why i am wondering for whom are these zip files usefull (maybe people with 2 acorn pcs, one with CD support and one with floppies only)?</summary>

PC-formatted discs were 640k and 1.44M back in the day, but floppies for RISC OS were always higher-capacity formatted (800k and 1.6M respectively).
