You have teh Qercus? Yes Metoo. But I haven't seen anything inside yet, apart from glimpsing its sodoku solver. Soduku cover? Luckily, no
Because clearly there hasn't been saturation coverage of that everywhere else. FFS. If I want to read a RISC OS mag, I want something slightly different than mainstream stuff. *invents new puzzle, calls it saduko, proceeds to conquer world* |

Their code is so simple it doesn't even look for squares which have only 1 possibility! |

Probably
But you can at least use it to verify that a puzzle is solvable. |

...My instinct tells me that it's probably akin to solving the rubik cube by brute force. Combinatorial explosion -> lots of memory and/or time. There's also an ARM-powered Rubik's cube solving robot. (I'm amazed that the only two occurrences of Rubik on this site seem to be this thread and the What you can do with Draw feature!) |

Not long to go Do you realise that once upon a time we all thought that was going to launch? |

Not long to go Do you realise that once upon a time we all thought that was going to launch? Ouch.
Actually, as I recall, it wasn't (just) my laziness - the point was made that it would be better to make it part of the main Acorn Arcade site, rather than spinning it off into a separate subsite. But then we... erm, stopped talking about it
Pity. It's still a great idea. |
