CloudFS updated to version 0.33 with much better performance and no timeouts.
 
No South-West Show this year to leave 'room' for online Wakefield show in April
 
HistoryFS - a version tracking filing system for RISC OS
 
Python 3.10 release for RISC OS to try here
 
Issue 104 of Drag'nDrop released.
 
Another new game to play.
 
TextEase 5.98 is now available (free update to existing users), with some minor fixes and the manual has now been fully updated.
 
ROOL announces a new version of the DDE
 
Next edition of Archive magazine is on its way.

TextEase if far more than just a DTP package. Depending on the version you buy, there are several additional programs included. In our first article, we looked at TextEase as a DTP/Word-processor and the packages available. In this part, we look at the Decision trees (!TeBranch).

Archive magazine announces revised publishing schedule for 2021

Having successfully taken over and published his first edition of Archive magazine (doubtless a steep learning curve he seemed to very successfully negotiate), the new editor (Gavin Smith) has announced sightly revised plans for the 2021 publishing schedule.

Cloverleaf drops promise of including retro games with Kickstarter rewards (Updated)

Banned from CloverleafFollowing an odd saga over the weekend involving Facebook group bans, deleted comments and generally hostile responses, the Cloverleaf project have this evening posted an update to their Kickstarter page noting that due to legal concerns, their previous promises of including a large collection of games with the project's rewards will no longer be fulfilled. Instead, Cloverleaf will provide a way to download games from other sources.
 
Previously, Cloverleaf had promised a number of emulators and "enough games to discover and play for at least 1 year" as well as illustrating their project's posts with pictures of popular games such as Doom, Lemmings, Elite, Myst and Duke Nukem 3D.
 
In the short statement on the Kickstarter project's updates page, Cloverleaf explained:
