Happy 10th Birthday Risc PC

Posted by Andrew Duffell on 23:37, 16/4/2004 | , , , , , ,

Risc PCToday is the 10th birthday of the Risc PC computer which was announced on 16th April 1994 by Acorn Computers. The Risc PC marked an epoch in the computing world, providing a fast machine with the ultimate in expansion capabilities.
Risc PCs were the flagship machine of the Acorn world until late 2002, and had many different upgrades that contributed to their longevity such as the StrongARM and Kinetic upgrades, and the viewfinder graphics card.

I'm sure you could find a bottom-of-the-range one for a few quid, and then you can join the RiscPC owners' club. ;-)

I suppose you could try sweet talking Castle, or you could etch it yourself :)

Andy. Owning one ten year old RiscPC and a slightly newer one - prefering them to the PC by far :D
